Behind Yahshua's Restoration Ministry chief leadership is Pastor Bernard Bethel, son-in-law of Elect Lady Phillip. Bernard Bethel was ordained pastor in the 2000s and has gained experience that has matured his ministry in preaching and teaching, preparedness, shepherding, encouragement, edification, and self-control. Bernard Bethel is a father of 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Alongside him, his wife of 40 years, Marcia Bethel; eldest daughter, Laquisha Foreman; middle child, Nikko Bethel; youngest daughter, Aeissha Bethel. Pastor Bethel's journey in the faith & bondmanship with Elect Lady Phillip consisted of feeding and caring for many who experienced homelessness, travel transport for the youth festivities, and events for the church. Over the years, Pastor Bethel and Marcia Bethel's home welcomed members of the faith, family, and friends that kept love and togetherness finely tuned with laughter, singing, and joy.
His late mother, Donnie Bethel, passed away in 1996. Yet, Pastor Bethel trusted his heart in Yahshua's hands and maintained his position, unmoved, though he was shaken. Presently, the fruit of Pastor Bethel's life work continues to blossom in and out of season.

Upon Elect Lady Phillip's migration to the United States (U.S.). In the U.S., she ministered under the direction of Pastor Raymond Gibson of MD, who subsequently licensed her to conduct sermons.
The spiritual and intellectual atmosphere of Lady Phillip’s early life and her close relationship with Yahweh have a lasting effect on her values and her view of humankind. She was empowered by the Holy Spirit to gather members who had migrated to Miami, Florida. As a result, a congregation was formed, and worship was initiated from her bedroom to the garage; then, it progressed from store front to store front. By the grace of Yahweh, in 1996, she acquired a building.

Elect Lady Phillip encountered many difficulties in spreading Yahweh's message and sacred name; however, she remained faithful to her beliefs that Yahshua was the Conqueror. Lady Phillip succeeded despite numerous obstacles, and as a result of her love, dedication, and caring spirit, many individuals in Miami heard of the ministry and began to fellowship. Finally, with much hard work and effort, in 1985, the faith was officially incorporated in Florida as the Universal Assembly of Yahweh Miami Florida, Inc.
The ministry of Yahweh commenced in the early 1950s in Trelawny, Jamaica, under the direction of the late Pastor Beriah Henlon. He led five other assemblies, one of which was in Kingston. The Kingston branch was headed by Pastor Wood and his spouse, Evangelist Wood. Under their tutelage, Lady Evelyn Phillips grew in Yahweh’s grace, and she continues to grow even to this day.
